Here at G C Johnson we offer an Interior Design service. One of our friendly, experienced team members can offer professional advice, whether you are after a whole new perspective or simply reassurance on your own design ideas. Our service is perfect for anyone who needs some guidance.

Costing only £40, which is refundable against any purchase over £100, it’s great value for money. With the visit lasting up to an hour, we are able to fully evaluate the space, to then collect suitable samples. Next we will meet you in store, where your designer will present the schemes they have carefully put together for you. Our designers are able to advise you on colours and finishes, as well as wallpaper, fabric and paint.

This is an effective way for us to guide you through the exciting design process. Not only does it make it easier to envisage the style you desire, but it also allows us to gain insight in to how we can tailor the service to suit your needs.

At last, previously entirely grey and white interiors are embracing colour. As we move into winter, warm and rich shades are returning as an interior favourite.

Greens, blues and blushes are arriving with a vengeance. Blush pink is taking over from the summer colour Millennial pink. This softer pink is a cosier version for these long winter nights. Teals and royal blues are the only blues we want this season, both bringing an element of vibrancy to any neutral palette. Finally, dark green is a colour here to stay. We love Anna French’s new collection with its sophisticated take on green. This stunning paper looks amazing with white paintwork as can be seen in their photography. Here at G C Johnson we have put our own spin on this trend by using deep, luscious greens and soft, snug blush in our window displays*.  The beauty of these wonderful colours is that they compliment the ever popular greys and neutrals exquisitely, so they’re perfect whether you’re looking for a complete winter makeover or a simple splash of colour.
