A bit about JAB Anstoetz
Founded in 1946, JAB Anstoetz is one of the world’s leading design houses, being renowned for providing only the very best furnishing and decoration fabrics, wallpaper, curtain rails and carpets. The JAB Anstoetz Group consists of an impressive 13 brands, all of which promise excellent services.
Throughout their 73 years in the industry, JAB Anstoetz have regularly been awarded renowned prizes for their exceptional products and services. Their extraordinary designs, selected materials and high quality execution of both design and service have time and time again set new standards in the world of innovative interior design.
A few of the company’s many milestones include; Heinz Anstoetz’s take over of the company in 1955 – following the sudden death of his uncle Josef, founder of the JAB Anstoetz Group; also the opening of the company’s first showrooms in Germany in 1958. The founding of JAB International Furnishings in London happened in 1979. Later in 2000, The JAB Anstoetz Group took the majority holding in Chivasso – a design oriented fabrics house. 2010 saw the company relocate and open its first street level flagship showroom at Imperial Wharf in Chelsea – one of the hottest design districts of London. This spectacular space features impressive 4.5m high ceilings which aid in showcasing the complete range of JAB collections. Additionally, their cafe-bar and luxury of free Wi-Fi makes it the ideal location for their both UK and international clientele to meet with designers. Their international distribution brand JAB Anstoetz Furniture was founded in 2011, in which the same year, JAB’s Chivasso Blueprint collection won ‘Best Collection‘ at Design et al awards. The following year, the company opened their first Paris showroom during Paris Deco Off.
