Arte Zephyr – Wallpaper Collection

An aura, or ‘avra’ in Greek, is an invisible atmosphere or a feeling surrounding a person, place, or object. This design captures that very essence, with an aura-like effect that seems to float around the drawing. Printed onto a fine fil à fil textile, it uses a generous application of ink to create a design that seems to hover gently on the surface, resulting in an enchanting effect.

This design is created from genuine sisal, which is then treated and printed to achieve a weathered surface with a strong patina effect. Allagi, meaning Greek for change or transformation, refers to the layered characteristics of this naturally beautiful design.

This dreamy pattern was aptly named Nefeli, the Greek word for cloud. Created using generous matte inks on a base of shimmering metallic foil, Nefeli evokes the radiant effect of sunlight breaking through the clouds.

The beautiful Greek term ‘eolian’ means shaped by the wind. This design is inspired by the ripples in the sand that are so gracefully drawn by the wind. It combines sculptural matte paste and glossy foil, resting on a soft suede base.

Light waves on the water, stirred by a soft wind, form the inspiration for this design. Kyma, the Greek word for wave, is realised on a tactile suede base. The motif is applied using a sculptural paste and foil, creating a beautiful contrast between the soft, matte, and glossy surfaces, whilst maintaining a refined, natural quality.

Kinisi is the Greek word for movement, and the perfect name for this chevron design. Not only does the pattern itself display great dynamism, but the materials also contribute to a dynamic play of light. Fine strips of silk paper with a delicate sheen are then precisely arranged in a chevron pattern atop a brilliant metallic foil.
