Pretty in Pink

Pink has been a popular colour in interior design for centuries. From elegant Rococo rooms to mid-century modern designs, pink has stood the test of time. When chosen thoughtfully and combined with the right elements, it can create a timeless and classic look.

There are so many shades of pink to choose from, and you can easily find one that resonates with your personal style. Whether you prefer soft, muted pinks or bold and vibrant ones, there’s a pink shade that can help you express yourself and create a space that truly feels like your own.

Pink Ground No. 202

Sulking Room Pink No. 295

Pink Ground: This dusty pink started out as a delicate wallpaper background which was often requested as a paint colour. Pink Ground, with its large dose of yellow pigment, now creates the softest blush of colour for a warm and soothing finish that doesn’t feel sugary. Rather than contrasting with a bright white, try pairing with its Complementary White, Wimborne White, or the warmer shade of Great White on the woodwork for a unique look in your home.

Sulking Room Pink: Not to be seen as overtly pink, but rather a muted rose with enormous warmth, its powdery feel makes it incredibly soft and easy to use with complementary tones. Sulking Room Pink is evocative of the colours so often used in boudoirs, a room named after the French “bouder” – to sulk.

Floris No. 27

FTT-006 Shocking Pink

Floris™ No.27 is a vibrant and sophisticated pink, pretty and feminine without being too sweet. It uses an absorbing umber shade to bring depth and beauty. Its blush tone is perfect for creating an appealingly romantic environment, and is soft, not at all overpowering

FTT-006 Shocking Pink: A strong mix of red and magenta, this paint walks the line between red and dark pink. A slightly darker and less feminine alternative to FTT-005™, it can provide dramatic energy with plenty of character.

Little Greene Paint Company

Blush No. 267

Masquerade No. 334

Blush: This muted, rosy pink paint colour creates a strong statement without being overbearing. It combines well with related darks such as Dark Lead Colour in a calming bathroom scheme, or with deep greens like Ambleside for a classic pink and green pairing.

Masqurade: With its delicate, powder-like hue, Masquerade – alongside the diluted versions of it – offers an alluring, natural undertone that is as ‘at-home’ in the bedroom as in the ballroom.
