This month Little Greene launched a long term partnership deal with The National Trust. The company has taken action by re-branding their paint colour-cards, tins and brochures with the National Trust logo. In addition to this, they have already begun research to work towards a new collection of archive colours which have been found in the Trust’s many properties. The team at Little Greene are thrilled about this new relationship, boasting that both parties share “a real synergy: conservation, restoration and reinvention are at the heart of everything both organisations hold dear. The National Trust’s ethos of protecting the past for the benefit of future generations echoes Little Greene’s approach to the rediscovery and use of historical colour and pattern in the 21st century.”
Little Greene will supply both interior and exterior paints for the Trust’s restoration projects in existing and ‘new’ Little Greene shades. Little Greene are donating a percentage from the sale of every can of paint in support of the National Trust’s ongoing conservation work, to ensure that the best-loved properties of the past can continue to be enjoyed. Little Greene believe that this collaboration is an obvious progression in their journey to aid in preserving our historic environment. Additionally it will assist their ability to undertake colour research that is deeply important to the authenticity of their product.
New colour-cards sporting the National Trust colours, as a capsule collection, are expected to arrive towards the end of 2018.
